Dana vs Kelly...and GIVEAWAY! Day Two!

Hey there, it’s me, Dana Arthur from Restraining the Receptionist, back again for more of the brutally honest, hard-hitting, multi-part exposé involving me and Kelly Crossman from Provoke Me. Tee-hee. Exposé. I like that word. Actually, we’re just hanging out with each other asking random questions. Yesterday I grilled Kelly about her hottie Spencer (you can check it out here) and today, it’s Kelly’s turn to take the gloves off. Knowing her, that’s not all she’ll be taking off.

Don’t forget to comment for a chance to win the first book in each series – Reveal Me and Training the Receptionist. Even if you commented yesterday, if you comment again you’ll be entered twice. See, aren’t we the coolest??

Take it away, Kelly!

KELLY: Take it off...take it away...whoa, hot flash! Okay, back to the job at hand. I have to say I’m glad to meet another woman who’s not afraid to go after what she wants…especially when her wants come in multiples. I gotta admit, Spencer’s plenty for me to handle, so how the heck do you deal with TWO hot as feck guys? Both dominant and sexy and dominant… *shudder* If I ever come to Low-life, Long Island, I promise to bring a bib so I don’t embarrass you by drooling too much!

Which brings me to my first question…

Two guys. One Dana. Where did you learn to juggle?

DANA: You know what they say … practice makes perfect. Snort. But it’s not just any two guys we’re talking about here. It’s Simon and Ethan, the loves of my life. I didn’t set out to be with two men, it just kind of worked out that way. So sure, there’s some juggling involved. And a pogo stick. Or two. You know, since we’re going with the circus theme. Next I’ll be taming lions and riding elephants. (Wait, maybe I am already.) Anyway, it all just adds to the adventure. And I’m all about the adventure.

KELLY: So being a receptionist WASN’T your dream job, but that’s before you came to work for Cowell & Dirk I’m assuming. But how do you keep your mind on work when you have Simon and Ethan being all dominating…I mean, working beside you?

DANA: I’ll tell you a secret. I’m not entirely sure what kind of business Cowell & Dirk is in. I think they’re consultants or something? Just kidding. I know what they do. I just don’t really care that much. It’s not like I run the place. Yet. Have I mentioned my plans for world domination? Doesn’t the name Cowell, Dirk & Arthur have a ring to it? Maybe soon … stay tuned!

KELLY: Simon or Ethan…who likes to spoon? (AKA cuddle…just had to explain, since for all I know you guys could have invented a new sexual position called that.)

DANA: Spoon…fork…it’s all good. With condiments or without. But seriously, I know what you’re trying to ask. Both Ethan and Simon are on the dominant side, so which one is the warm and fuzzy guy. That would be Simon. Ethan has more of an edge – he’s the guy you want by your side in a dark alley. He’s one tough hombre. (Do they have hombres in England?) I didn’t even know how tough Ethan was until recently. I don’t want to go into it too much, but he pretty much saved my life. I’d do anything for that man, and so would Simon. The more you get to know Ethan, the more you love him. Take it from me.

KELLY: Ethan has been known to tease you with other girls. You go for that? (Talk softly, please. I’m afraid Spencer may overhear and get bad ideas…)

DANA: OMG, are you talking about Chantalette? Don’t even get me started on Chantalette! Worst temp ever!!! The day she filled in for me, she never even turned on her headset. What happened was, one day Ethan decided to tease me by NOT teasing me, and teasing her instead. He’s an evil genius when it comes to sex. You just never know what he’s going to do next. I’ve learned to go with the flow with him, and I’ve never once regretted it. Besides, I got news for you: I think Spencer has plenty of bad ideas all on his own.
KELLY: And for my fluff…we all know Meatloaf would do anything for love…how about you? How far is too far in lucky-as-hell Dana Arthur land?

DANA: As soon as I figure that out, you’ll be the first to know. Or maybe the second. Never mind – the third. Simon and Ethan get first crack. That’s the funny thing about breaking through your boundaries. You never know where you’ll end up or what will come next. That’s why it’s so fun. So more to come on that…

KELLY: Thanks so much for answering my questions, Dana. You’re a rockin’ chick and I feel like a total newb when it comes to this sort of thing compared to you. Jot your number down for me, will ya? I promise to only call in dire sex-mergencies.

DANA: Sure! Just dial 69-1-1. (Honestly, I crack myself up sometimes.) Thanks to you too, Kelly, and good luck with that mancandy of yours!

And one more time for the weekend crowd, here are the blurbies and linkies.

Restraining the Receptionist

Every deal has a loophole.

…the Receptionist, Book 2

Dana Arthur’s new job with the firm of Cowell & Dirk is going well. Translation: the occasionally kinky ménage with her two bosses, Ethan and Simon, has been several months of politically incorrect bliss.

Except the relationship feels unbalanced. While Ethan is the undisputed master, the partners’ iron-clad agreement stipulates that Simon must be present as she performs her “duties”. And she senses there’s a subtle, powerful tug-of-war developing for more than just her body.

Simon had agreed to share the firm’s fiery, sensually daring receptionist…to a point. With Simon out of town, Ethan plans a feast of erotic temptations designed to have Dana begging him to break the deal. He didn’t realize his heart would be a casualty.

Once she surrenders to his wicked demands, Dana realizes there’s no going back. It’s time for a three-way renegotiation…this time, all or nothing.

Provoke Me

Book two in the Unveiled series.

Sometimes extreme provocation can lead to exactly what you need…

Attracted.Kelly is focused on the bookstore she manages. Sex is relegated to a list of candidates on her PDA. Only one man pushes all her buttonsher boss.

Fascinated. Spencer is determined to fight his desire for Kelly. For years they’ve bumped heads over the store they both love. But there’s more than one reason a potential relationship is too complicated.
Provoked. When Kelly and Spencer unexpectedly meet up at a sex club, all the rules go out the window. Suddenly there’s only one way this match of wills can end―naked, preferably all night long. In this battle for sexual supremacy, there are two winners—and two losers, when their stubbornness leads to the very thing each dreads most.

Reader Advisory: In a couple of scenes, Kelly and Spencer test “the more the merrier” theory.
