It gives the rest of us so much inspiration. Instead of thinking, "What a loser I am," you can think, "hey, I'm kinda like Sherrilyn Kenyon!" So thanks, Sherrilyn! Your honesty is appreciated. He sold the hardback rights for 2,000 dollars and then the paperback rights for 400,000 =) hurrah for inspiration!

PS: Anne is amazing.Stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17895528332051374056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6927196002363676480.post-3697016555228380882009-11-19T14:06:01.253-05:002009-11-19T14:06:01.253-05:00WOW. I know I have a few rejection letters. I was lucky enough though to get 'supportive' rejection letters where the editor actually encouraged me to write, told me where I was going wrong, and told me to submit to them again when I worked on the issues she pointed out. Every now and then I'll hear about someone who immediately sold the first book they ever wrote but that's just not typical. Most of us are swimming in rejection letters before getting 'the call'. I've also read that S. Kenyon is a big big supporter of epublishing because her first stuff was published that way.Regina Carlyslehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316730032624449669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6927196002363676480.post-57311552486170023892009-11-19T10:51:41.810-05:002009-11-19T10:51:41.810-05:00I just got that book. haven't read it yet thou...I just got that book. haven't read it yet though.
