I swear, after today, I'm done!

For weeks I've been talking your ear off about my oldest going to Kindergarten. I KNOW you're probably all tired of hearing about it so I promise, today will be the last day I blab about it. LOL. Monday was finally the big day. She woke up early, super excited. By the time we got there, her nerves were setting in but luckily, she was still very excited as well. We took a couple pictures of her before we left (no idea if these came up in order on here, lol). Her baby sister jumped in for a picture with her as well.

When we got there we took a few more pictures. She met a friend before school even started which was really cool. She was her parents oldest as well so while the girls chatted we sat there blubbering about how we couldn't believe our little girls were already in Kindergarten. When it came time for the teacher to walk them to class, I said goodbye. Once they walking about, me and her friends mom hugged and got a bit teary-eyed. Once they were in class, I couldn't help but sneak in to check on her. She was so cute at her desk, coloring and basically not giving a crap that I was leaving. I'm glad. Believe me but it broke my heart a little bit as well. She's getting bigger and more independent, which is what I want but I can't help but remember when she relied on me for everything. They grow up so fast. Treasure the days with your little ones.

LOL Kelley...I admit to getting slightly teary-eyed when my oldest enterd kdgn...even wrote a poem for him. He will be graduating from HS this year, and I'll probably be a neurotic mess this time next fall, when we pack him off to college.

Now my baby is off to kdgn...and I'm doing the happy dance! I finally get the house to myself again:) His Big Day is tomorrow.

Your girls are so damn cute, Kelley! I just want to hug them! I'm glad she's handling it so well. It's hard to see them growing up, I know. So hard!

Btw, in the one picture there's a little girl with her head down. Was she crying?

Thanks ladies. She's had a good week so far. She wants to ride the bus! She's all irritated that I bring her and drop her off. LOL. They grow so fast. She already wants nothing to do with me. LOL.

Yes, Anne he was crying. I felt very bad.

Kelley I get sappy every year no matter what the grade is. I can't believe M and P are doing kindergarten this year....wasn't it just a blink ago we were pregnant together?

Love ya, miss you and send you wicked energy wishes every day....

Awwwww. What adorable PICS!!! It's emotional, isn't it? Sounds like she's wanting her independance. That's a good thing!

Mine goes off to college next week. So I'll hold your hand this week and you can hold mine the next. This is so hard.

Tonya, I would love it if we were closer and M and P could go to school together. Love to you and your family!!

Reg, I will be here for you for sure. Time flies, doesn't it?

Anne, I know! I felt bad for him too. That's so hard.

OMG I can't believe she's starting school. I remember her from when she was an infant. She's still the cutest little girl. Love the pink book bag. I can remember standing outside in the parking lot just in case my son changed his mind and wanted to come home, LOL that was 34 years ago. Before you know it she'll be heading off to college.
