Crawling in bed with Zsadist...

Yesterday, I was having one of those blah days. Nothing specific was really wrong, but as the day went on, I just didn't feel good. It was one of those bummer days where you just feel like crawling in bed, with a book and locking the rest of the world out. Sometimes nothing will make you feel better than that. At least not for me.

I had a couple new books I could read, but none of them were jumping out at me. I needed a comfort read. One of those books I always go to on those blah days. Yesterday, nothing else would do it for me than crawling in bed with Zsadist. LOL. I don't know what it is about that book, but nine times out of ten, it's my go to book. It's not like Z is the most cuddly fellow, but I just love his story so much. It breaks my heart, but gives me hope too. I LOVE the ending and though we know Z will never be perfect, I really think he touches my heart like no other character in a book.

On those days where I just feel bummed, nothing helps like snuggling with my copy of Lover Awakened.

Who do you like to crawl into bed with on those blah days?

Ahhhh, he's one of my 'go to' books too. This one in particular just has so much going on in regards to her storyline as a whole. Love the hero and the heroine. I have a huge collection of comfort reads. Sometimes I just want historical and I'll start at the beginning of Amanda Quick stories and read them all.

My comfort reads are anything by Laurell K. Hamilton or anything by Patricia Briggs....I also re-read the Mackenzie's Mountain series by Linda Howard

There are a few. One that comes to mind immediately is Dark Desire by Christine Feehan. Several of thos early Dark books are still her best. :)
