Vacay...from the computer

Sorry I'm late posting today...I blame extreme melting!

In my part of NY, it hit 100 degrees yesterday. I know that's normal for some of you in the summer, but I live in a place that gets around 150 inches of snow each winter. We hadn't been this hot since 1936. I have no A/C at home. Needless to say, I can't spend too much time on the computer so I'm using this time to try to relax a bit and get caught up on some reading. And yep, I'll be camped in front of my fan for the duration of the weekend!

What about you? Do you have any exciting weekend plans or are you planning on vegging in front of a cool breeze like me?

And HAPPY RELEASE DAY, MIA! *pom pom swish*

You must be near Buffalo! LOL I lived in NY for over 30 yrs. I'm enjoying this extreme heat right now, but it won't last.

Stay cool! :)

Living in Texas for over 40 years, I'm used to the heat but I still hate the heat. Good luck keeping cool and catching up on your reading.

Stay cool...

LOL, Amber, I'm a couple hours away from Buffalo in the snow capital of the US. You were darn close!

Marika, you Texans are hardier than me. Deep snow doesn't faze me. But this kinda heat sure does...

Thanks for stopping by, ladies! Have a great - and cool - weekend! :)

I live in the middle of the San Joaquin valley of California, and usually it gets hotter than blazes each and every summer. But for some reason not this year. So I've been enjoying the cool moderate temps.

Drink lot of water and good luck keeping cool.
