Those Nontraditional Christmas Movies

Because I'm having computer problems, I'm going to keep the post simple today and show you my 4 favorite nontraditional Christmas movies. One thing you should know about me, I have a slightly off-center sense of humor. The sweet Christmas movies are great, I love to feel all warm and fuzzy just like the next person, but sometimes you don't want sweet, right?

Sometimes you want to watch Bruce Willis shoot up a high rise building, or Denise Leary tie up the nagging mother of the couple he's kidnapped.

Sometimes you even want to hear about Santa's screwed up brother and see a slightly dysfunctional family deal with one Christmas mishap after another.

If that's the case, then these four should be on the top of your list of must-watch movies!

So, what are some of your favorite odd-ball movies for the holidays? Tell me in a comment and you're entered to win one of my ebooks. :)

I don't watch very many movies any more I'd rather spend my time reading. When I watch movies I love to watch the Highlander movies and I've watched them over and over. I also watch some Disney movies with my nieces.

I have a Christmas horror film marathon after I get back from celebrating. Levels out the sugar and saccharine of the holiday. Faves include Silent Night, Deadly Night, Black Christmas and 30 Days of Night.

I may watch The Nightmare Before Christmas tonight...it's been on the DVR now for about two weeks, and I've only seen the 1st half hour.

Love Nightmare Before Christmas, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (hysterical every single time) and Love Actually (which has such a sweetness but some great off beat moments, too.)
